Fluid Dynamics

Objective:

The purpose of this experiment is to verify t=V/(A*root2gh) and verify Bernoulli's Equation where we can assume the velocity of exiting fliud is constant. Through calculating its uncertainty, we analyze which factors cause the difference between the measured value and experimental value.
We measure the Volume, time, and water depth to find the area of the little hole and verify the Bernoulli’s Equation

Conclusion
The average time 13.86s The +/- .2 second uncertainty came from our reaction times. I think that the reason that the measured times were so different from the calculated times was from the manner in which the buckets received their holes. The buckets were made out of a pretty malleable and soft plastic. I think that when the hole was drilled in them there remained plastic inside the hole. This plastic was still attacked to the bucket and impeded flow. The calculated diameter was 4.0mm. This is 20% lower than the 5.1mm measured hole diameter.
The error is very big because the water is hard to hold. it always losing water.
